Methodology
What "verified" means
An offer is marked verified only after the operator's verification agent checks the provider's own pages — the official offer or pricing page — and confirms the terms still exist as described. Every check records who did it, when, how, and a link to the evidence. When a provider page can't be reached directly, the record says so and cites the corroborating sources instead.
Freshness badges
- Fresh — checked within the last 14 days.
- Aging — checked 15–45 days ago. Terms may have changed; check the provider's page.
- Stale — checked more than 45 days ago. Treat with caution.
- Offers unchecked for 90+ days are hidden from the index until re-verified.
Expiry rules
Offers with a confirmed end date show it. An offer past its end date fails the build — it cannot be published until it is re-verified or retired to the dead archive.
Report Dead
Every offer page has a Report Dead link. Reader reports go to the operator by email, triaged weekly. Confirmed dead offers are moved to the dead archive with the reason recorded.
What we don't do
- Checks are performed against the provider's own pages by our verification agent — not by bulk automated scraping; no invented terms — every field traces to a provider page.
- No paid placement can buy verification or a freshness badge.
